Chernigin Alexander Alekseevich.
Alexander Chernigin was born in May 1953 in the city of Gorky. Since 1970 he worked as an artist-decorator in the theater, an artist in an art studio of film distribution, an artist-designer in a combine of Art Fund of the Union of Artists of Russia. Creative activity began with participation in 1974 in the youth exhibition. Took part in many exhibitions of various ranks, including All-Union, All-Russian, international and personal. Since 1993, member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Works in all genres of easel painting, watercolors, graphics. The paintings are in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad. Since 2010 he teaches Painting and drawing in the faculty of graphic design Minin University in Nizhny Novgorod.
